The AATF National Bulletin, Vol 34, No 1 Septembre 2008 features an article entitled, "Photo Story: A Low-Tech Storytelling Tool," written by Carol E. Goss of Valparaiso University (carol.goss@valpo.edu). In it she describes the use of a free Microsoft product called Photo Story, which allows the user to compile photos accompanied by special effects, music and voice-over. A step up from Power Point, but not as tech-intensive as iMovie. Go to her helpful website where she has posted supporting documents such as assignment directions, tech directions, links to download Photo Story and other software you may need with it, and tips for viewing on a Mac.
